NAME: Amy Marie O'Neal (Parrin)I am a single mother of a preschool boy, I am seeking a good fit with a program or as an elementary teacher in order to bring the love of learning to young children and their families, and I am passionate about teaching and closing the achievement gap in our nation. This portfolio is my way of sharing my beliefs, philosophies, achievements, and samples of work with potential parents, students, colleagues, and other professionals.

No two snowflakes are exactly the same. No two children are exactly the same, either. All children have diversity about them, even siblings or twins who share a culture, a family structure, and a community. No two children will experience life the same way. For this reason alone, education should be personalized for each child in order for each child to receive the opportunity to succeed in all he or she does.
Life is a work of art - and there is no 'wrong' in art, only different views and opinions.
